At the end of the 1970s, Giovanni Paganini, after decades of experience in the construction sector as a carpenter - and thanks to his passion for his work and his innate entrepreneurial spirit - he founded G.M.I. S.r.l. (General Montaggi Industriali).
It is no coincidence that it was so named, as G.M.I. started out as a company specialising in the civil and industrial assembly sector and then expanded over the years by carrying out turnkey major works in the water (river and maritime) and port (building quay unloaders and port machinery) sectors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition to structural works such as bridges of various tonnages, water purification plants, industrial and civil buildings. In 2006, following the premature death of the founder, his daughter Emanuela took over the company. Together with her collaborators, she has worked with perseverance and courage to keep the company alive and improve it.
